OHAI is located in south Denver near I-25 and Arapahoe Rd. at 7700 E. Arapahoe Road, Suite 275, Centennial, CO 80112.  On East Arapahoe Road, we are approximately four lights west of I-25, or, approximately one light east of Quebec.

Denver is the capital of the State of Colorado and offers a wide variety of cultural, entertainment and athletic events. It is close to the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains where abundant outdoor activities exist. Our comfortable facility lends ease of learning to our convenient location. The cozy classrooms and clinics are complete with charts, visual aids and massage tables.

Mission Statement
The Oriental Healing Arts Institute (OHAI) is dedicated to offering comprehensive training in energy-based massage within the context of Chinese medicine. Bringing together these proven earliest health therapies coupled with Western massage modalities the school stands ready to fulfill a dual mission.

First: As the central role in the training, instruction will be in the Chinese energy based knowledge of massage. These teachings will give the student comprehension and mastery of this ancient healing art.

Second: The school shall preserve this Chinese massage perspective as it also offers training in Western massage therapies with the aspiration for betterment of American health care.

Specific Objectives

The school intends to achieve this dual mission by maintaining the following specific objectives:

• To develop a modern, expanded definition of massage as a body and mind energetic, integrative approach that unites physical and behavioral perspectives on human health and related dysfunctions.
  
  
• To ground the educational programs of the school in a competency-based model where experience through hands-on instruction comes first.
  
  
• To train students in various styles of classical and modern massage techniques, as well as Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) practices.
  
  
• To create a learning environment which gives students an expansive pool of health-giving knowledge through exposure to master senior practitioners that are trained in East Asian, European and North American medical traditions.
  
  
• To educate students in the integration of various massage treatments to facilitate and maintain a patient's wellness of body and mind.
  
  
• To provide post-graduate education to other health care professionals in other aspects of Oriental medicine.
  
  
• To encourage the school’s students, faculty and alumni to actively participate in both State and National massage and Oriental medicine associations and projects.
